Happy Birthday, The Immortal Words!
A year ago today, I released my first novel. If you’re here, you know that novel was named The Immortal Words, the first book in The Age of Gods series. Since then, I’ve spent my time writing an in-universe novella, The Shadow of Stars, working on a separate novel that’s on the back-burner until Book Two is done, and, of course, Book Two of the series. Unfortunately, it’s been hard finding time and energy to devote to writing with all that’s been going on in my personal life.
But… I’ve been back at it! Book Two is nearly halfway complete, filled with some of my favorite chapters in the series. I can’t give too much away without spoiling events from the first book, but I’ll be releasing the prologue soon. Keep an eye out for that in a future update. If spring and summer go well, I’ll be going through edits come autumn and sending it to beta readers.
With it being a full year since releasing the novel, I wanted to thank you for reading my book(s). Anyone that’s released a novel (or any art) knows the anxiety and doubt that comes from sharing that part of you with strangers. Your support has turned that anxiety into excitement, and I can’t help but think of how all of you will react with each new twist, turn, and major event that I write. I can’t wait to finally get Book Two into your hands!
Happy Birthday, The Immortal Words, and Happy Valentine’s to all of you!
